Photo Booth for Company Parties and Christmas Dinners in Málaga Province

If you are organising the company party or the Christmas dinner this year, a photo booth is one of the few line items that pays you back twice: once on the night, when it gets a room full of colleagues actually talking to each other, and again afterwards, when everyone goes home with a printed photo that has your logo on it. Hire starts at €400 for three hours, and that is the same price anywhere in the province of Málaga.

December dates are the tightest of the year. Company parties cluster into the same two or three weeks, most of them on Fridays and Saturdays, and the equipment gets booked out in the order the enquiries arrive. Everything below is what you need to know to price it, plan the space and pick a slot.

How much does a photo booth cost for a company party?

The same rate we quote for any event: from €400 for three hours, with an operator on site for the whole slot. That covers a classic photo booth, a magic mirror or a 360 video booth at a company dinner, an awards night, a team celebration or a year-end party.

  • From €400 — three hours, anywhere in the province of Málaga
  • +€150 — sequin backdrop in gold or silver, which photographs well against a corporate template
  • €0 — travel inside Málaga province, whether the venue is in Marbella, Fuengirola or Málaga city

Longer slots, a second machine, heavy smoke, sound equipment or a host are quoted per event rather than off a price list, because the number depends on the venue and the timings. Send us the date, the venue and the hours and you get one fixed figure, usually the same day, and that figure is what you pay. There is a fuller breakdown of how pricing works on the coast in our guide to photo booth hire cost on the Costa del Sol.

What is included in the price

Everything on this list is in the base hire. None of it is an extra.

  • Unlimited photos and prints. We do not count shots and we do not count paper. A hundred people can use it as many times as they like.
  • Instant printing. The print is in their hands in seconds, not emailed next week.
  • A custom print template with your branding. Your logo, the company colours, the name of the event, the year — we design it, send it for approval and have it ready before the first guest arrives.
  • Props. Glasses, hats, signs and accessories, which matter more at a work party than at a wedding: they give people who barely know each other something to do with their hands.
  • An operator on site. Our person sets up, runs the booth, looks after guests and packs down. Nobody from your team spends the evening supervising a machine.
  • A digital gallery. All the images come back to you afterwards, which is where most of the following year’s internal and social content comes from.

Why it works better at a work party than almost anywhere else

Company parties have a specific problem. People arrive in the groups they already sit with, stay in them, and leave early. Nothing on the agenda mixes the room, and the harder an organiser pushes at it with games, the more the room resists.

A photo booth solves it sideways. It gives people a reason to stand next to a colleague from another department for ninety seconds, and it produces something they keep. Three things follow from that, and they are the reasons companies rebook:

  • The queue is the event. Conversations happen in the line, not in the booth. That is where departments actually meet.
  • The print is branded. Every photo leaves with your logo on it and ends up on a desk, a fridge or a phone camera roll. It is the only piece of the evening that survives into January.
  • You get content you can use. A digital gallery of a few hundred images of your own people enjoying themselves is worth more for recruitment posts and internal comms than a staged shoot.

If you are weighing up formats, the classic booth, the magic mirror and the 360 video booth do different jobs at a corporate event — the 360 tends to draw a crowd and the classic booth tends to get more people through it. We compare all three in 360 booth, magic mirror or photo booth.

Space, power and setup at a hotel or restaurant

Corporate venues are usually tighter than wedding venues, so this is worth checking with the venue before you book anything.

Space: three by three metres is comfortable. The booth itself takes about a square metre, the backdrop is 2.5 by 2.5 metres, and the rest is for the queue and the props table. If the function room is full of round tables, a corner works — the booth and props fit against the venue’s own wall without a separate backdrop.

Height: no piece of our equipment is taller than 1.8 metres, so low ceilings are never a problem. What does matter is how we get in: narrow service doors, stairs without a lift and long carries from the car park are all fine if we know about them in advance.

Power: one normal socket within reach. Setup takes about an hour and we do it before guests arrive, so the booth is ready and tested when the room opens.

Outdoors: a terrace or a beach club works in December on the coast as long as there is a covered area and power. Damp and strong wind are the two things the printer and the equipment will not tolerate.

When to put the booth in the running order

The most common mistake at a company dinner is opening the booth at the same time as the doors. People are still finding their table, nobody wants to be first, and an hour of the slot goes by with the operator standing next to an empty backdrop.

Three hours placed well covers a normal evening:

  1. Open it after the main course or after the speeches. The room is warmed up, people are already moving between tables, and the first group through pulls the rest.
  2. Keep it running through the transition to music. This is the peak — the gap between the meal ending and the dancing starting is exactly when a queue forms by itself.
  3. Close it before the end, not at the end. Finishing while the party is still busy leaves people wanting it next year. Finishing at 3am means the last hour was two people and an operator.

If there are awards or a speech, tell us in advance: the booth is loud and bright, and we would rather pause it for ten minutes than talk over your CEO.

Where we cover in Málaga province

The same price applies across the whole province, with no travel surcharge: Marbella, Nueva Andalucía, Puerto Banús, San Pedro de Alcántara, Elviria, Estepona, Sotogrande, Fuengirola, Benalmádena, Torremolinos, Mijas, Málaga city and Nerja. Most corporate bookings land in hotel function rooms and restaurants along the coast, and those are the venues we work in most often.

There are dedicated pages for the two busiest areas: photo booth rental in Marbella and photo booth hire in Fuengirola.

We have been building photo zones for more than five years and hold a 5.0 rating on Google. Our operators work in English, Spanish and Russian, which matters at a company party on this coast more than people expect.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a photo booth cost for a company Christmas party?

From €400 for three hours, including unlimited prints, props, a branded print template and an operator on site. The same rate applies anywhere in the province of Málaga.

Can you put our company logo on the prints?

Yes, and it is included. We design a custom template with your logo, colours and the event name, and send it for approval before the event.

How far in advance should we book for December?

As early as you can. Company party dates concentrate into a few weeks and the Fridays and Saturdays go first. If you already have the venue and the date, that is enough to book.

Do you charge extra to come to our venue?

No. Travel anywhere inside Málaga province is included in the price.

Is there a limit on how many photos guests can print?

No. Photos and prints are unlimited throughout the hire, however many people are at the party.

Do we get the photos afterwards?

Yes. You receive the full digital gallery after the event and can use the images for internal and social content.

Does someone from our team need to run it?

No. An operator from our team is there for the whole event, handling setup, guests and the technical side, and packs down afterwards.

How much space does it need in a function room?

About three by three metres and one normal power socket. In a tight room a corner against the venue’s own wall works too.
